Green & Gold Soul + Dirty Gold Update

Check out what Green & Gold Soul and Dirty Gold have been up to!

On November 4th, Green & Gold Soul and Doc Nix performed at the National Association for Music Education’ (NAfME) National Conference at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. NAfME, founded in 1907, works to ensure music study remains an integral part of school curricula, and that all students have well-balanced, high-quality music instruction. The GMU NAfME Collegiate Chapter, which is run by a select board of officers and music education faculty, is a proponent of music education participation in School of Music events and represents Mason in the National Association for Music Education.

The Dirty Gold Brass Band and Doc Nix performed in the lobby of the Center for the Arts on November 6th following a performance by the world-renowned Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
