Introducing: District Drummers!

The Green Machine is excited to welcome its newest ensemble, the District Drummers! This drumline was formed in collaboration with Monumental Sports & Entertainment, the owners and operators of both EagleBank Arena in Fairfax and Capital One Arena in DC, and consists of current Mason students, alumni, and community members. The District Drummers are powered by the Green Machine and are scheduled to perform at a handful of Washington Wizards home games this season. The drumline is led by Travis Peterman and Paul Bernfeld and assisted by Shane Nickels and Ryan Carter.

The District Drummers had their first performance at Capital One Arena on Friday, October 21st for the Washington Wizards vs. Chicago Bulls home opener (the Wizards won 102-100!!). The drumline plays on the concourse prior to the games they attend to pump up our amazing Wizards fans before tip-off.
