Welcome to Joshua Cruse!

Please join us in welcoming Joshua Cruse to the Green Machine Ensembles as the Senior Media Producer! While Josh has been active with the ensembles since 2013, producing and releasing videos, he just joined as a full-time member of the team in January 2020.

As a 2013 graduate of George Mason University with a B.M. in Music Composition and Recording/Music Technology, Josh has worked with numerous non-profits, educational institutions, and commercial entities. Josh has contributed breaking news imagery and editorial media to CNN, NBC, VICE NEWS and the Associated Press, and his footage has been incorporated into productions from National Geographic, Politico, NASA, and various network affiliates and community news publications. His work received two IFEA Gold Pinnacle awards in 2016 for short films produced for Drum Corps International. He has held the role of Producer/Editor, Media Brand at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

Josh grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia and joined the marching band in high school as his interest in music began at an early age. He grew up with a mentor who was a professional photographer which inspired his interest in that area as well as video production.

We count ourselves lucky to have Josh as a part of the team and his expertise and love of media comes across in all that he does for the ensembles!
