Pep Band Alumni Spotlight: Keandra Diamond
Keandra Diamond was both a vocalist and clarinetist in the Green Machine Pep Band. Since graduating with her Psychology degree in 2017, she attended Emory University in her home state of Georgia to earn a Master’s degree in Development Practice (International Development). Her relentless ambition took her to Ethiopia, where she worked to increase children’s access to education and healthcare, and led her to consult for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on improving disaster preparedness in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. She is currently a Pathways to STEM Faculty Advisor for Envision Experience, helping build global awareness and familiarity with forensic science, medicine, engineering, and technology. Keandra’s impressive early career achievements earned her recognition in George Mason’s “Top 40 Under 40”.
